Who we are

This website is operated by Suzhou Caring Equipment Co., Ltd., Suzhou, Jiangsu, China (“Caring”, “we”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@caringmetal.com.

What data we collect

We collect only the data you give us or that is needed to run the site:

• RFQ and contact forms: name, company, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, destination, products, quantities, custom requirements and any file you attach.
• Email, phone and WhatsApp: the content of your messages and your contact details.
• RFQ basket: the products you add are stored in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers, until you send the form.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, through server logs and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies.

Why we use it and legal basis

• To answer your RFQ and prepare quotations, and to carry out orders: steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To answer general questions and keep business records: our legitimate interest in running our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To protect our forms from spam with hCaptcha: legitimate interest.
• Analytics and marketing cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host, email provider, hCaptcha (spam protection) and, with your consent, Google (Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel). For project orders we may share necessary details with partner factories and logistics companies to prepare your quotation or delivery.

International transfers

We are based in China, so data you send us is processed in China. Some of our service providers process data in the United States or other countries. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

RFQs and correspondence that do not lead to an order are kept for up to 3 years. Order and invoice records are kept as long as required by tax and commercial law. Cookie data is kept for the periods listed in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Send your request to info@caringmetal.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

We use HTTPS on the whole site and limit access to your data to staff who need it to answer your request.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
