Many distribution centres use both roll containers and pallets. The right choice depends on the store and the goods.
Roll containers
Staff push them straight from the truck to the shelf, with no pallet truck needed. They suit small stores, mixed goods and daily deliveries.
Pallets and wire cages
Better for full-pallet quantities, heavy goods and stores with a back room and handling equipment. Wire cages on pallets protect loose goods.
A mixed fleet
Most retailers combine both. We supply roll containers and pallet wire cages in matching sizes so they fit the same trucks and racks.
